At RefugeeHelp.site, we are a refugee-led, Malaysia-based initiative supporting refugees in their daily struggles for survival and dignity. We help with rent, food, hospital interpretation, medical expenses, school fees, and documentation—but we cannot do it alone.
We welcome volunteers in Malaysia who are compassionate, trustworthy, and ready to help without expecting payment or benefits.

We do not have funds to offer stipends, transport allowances, or any financial benefits. Our volunteers serve purely for the sake of helping others.
📌 Volunteer Roles
We are looking for volunteers to assist with:
🔹 Hospital and Police Interpretation
(Especially if you speak Urdu, Punjabi, Rohingya, Somali, or Arabic, )
Accompany refugees to hospitals, clinics, and police stations to interpret and advocate for them.
🔹 Documentation Support
Sponsorship documents for private sponsorship or community sponsorship programs
🔹 Distribution Assistance
Help during food and essentials distribution to families in need.
🔹 Education Support
Assist in liaising with refugee learning centres, helping with small-scale tutoring, or guiding parents.
🔹 Transport Coordination
Help refugees navigate public transport when attending appointments.
🕒 Time Commitment
✅ Flexible: from a few hours a week to occasional assistance during distributions or hospital visits.
✅ We only require reliability and clear communication if you commit to a family or task.

🩶 Volunteer Requirements
✅ Based in Malaysia (any state, but primarily Selangor and Kuala Lumpur).
✅ Respectful and sensitive to refugee families’ dignity and privacy.
✅ Willing to serve without expecting financial reward.
✅ Able to maintain confidentiality.
✅ Languages: English or Malay required; additional languages (Urdu, Punjabi, Rohingya, Somali, Arabic, Bengali) are highly valued.
